Ran from my house down sunnyside to East, then on 13th E. to 1st south and back,

Ran from East over to Sugarhouse on 13th E. Two big laps there then coming back on 15th E. ran up by the goalie and a lap around the school.

Had to retake a test after school, wasn't able to run with East today. Went on my own run went down to 19th E. over to 21st S. and did about half a mile at sugarhouse and made my way back.

Indoor Track is soon and I am nervous/excited to get going!

From East taking 13th E. then down 21st S. and taking 9th E and 9th S, added a half lap around the school. Back for 5 miles, Ran with Bill, Clara, Diwas, Hyrum, Patrick, Hannah, and Emma.

Back after a shin-related injury, happy to be back.

We've been doing a lot of stretching, and much more sprinting/working on our cardio. Afterwards went to liberty, long way to the fountain. 1 mile speed change and back to East adding on the way there

Started from house to East, then to westminster along 13th. Added a bit at East. and then back.

Have a race at the oval next friday, first track one for me. Excited/nervous!

After some knee lift workouts at East went 5 miles up ending up up Emigration then the 5 back for a total of 10 miles.

Went to the oval and did a 2k, 1600(5;55) and a 1200(4:25) and then two 400's at the end with plenty of cooldown between and after.

Race this friday at the oval, probbably going to do the 2 mile.

After a human ladder we went to sugarhouse on 13th, 2 laps of fartlick on the street, then up to 19th E. and down back to East where we had to add quite a bit because of my woes with my Garmin.

Everyday this week has been 10 miles, this is going to be a high-milage week......we will see how this plays out on Friday at the oval!

Ran the length of each hallway twice at East then headed down to Liberty Park, long way around to drinking fountain of course. Did a mile of speed chnages, to the drinking fountain and long way back.

At the oval today I did the distance challange. Was going to do the two mile but ultimatley decided on the 1. When asking for times I said 5:35. Had a good starting posotion, was able to pass 1-2 people per 400m, but as usual was outkicked by 3 or so at the end. 

I was stoked to run the 5:21(Previous PR 5:28). After basically only racing 5k's or 3 milers it was sorta sureal to race the mile. Still cant get over how fast the race seemed to go, its crazy.

First track meet=Success!

Well after a laziness streak here I am! I kept slacking on updating the Blog.

Did 3 miles up to Joey's house, and 3 back. Was able to keep a 7;16 pace for all 6 miles with Anderson. Onward to summer XC workouts!

Well my Freshmen year is officially over! A whole bunch of emotions are coming through me but i'm ready to wokr hard this summer. Got 7 miles with Rivers this eveing since it was cooler.

Here are my freshmen 2015-2016 running acomplishments;

XC; Made Varsity, and was able to keep improving throughout the season. PR- 17:57 5K run at Nike Arizona

Track; 800m- 2;19, 1600m-4:52, 3200m-10:23

Since Garek became injured I was technically the best from East for the 1600 and 3200!

PM; 6 miles with River's, a nice night run. I'm ready and excited for XC workouts to start!

PM: Went to River's house and ran with him to popington and back to his house then back home alone for a total of 9 (7 with River's) 

Really happy that I am getting in these big mile days. I am very proud of myself.

AM; woke up to go running at 5AM with Rivers a bit past the Zoo for 8

PM; got 7 miles up on Pipeline w/ Emma Glende, and Mary Hallman.

PM: Went to the XC workouts organized by Joey, 1 big lap at Liberty, then one lap of firemen on the woodchips, then one lap cooldown. Really fun being with all those people agian! Then got 4 miles with Jonas

AM, 7 miles by going up on 21st E following it down to 13th E. Then a mile on the new track which is very nice. 

PM; Did Zoo trail, worked with Anderson it was very hot so the heat really got to me making it very difficult, but was able to still kill it with Anderson to get 7.

Started at Sugarhouse then to cemetary and back. Coach Bill hasn't been responding to anyone on the team which has been frustrating because he knows what I specifially should be getting on workouts and milage so I'm basically coaching my self, I am sort of mad because what if my success (and everyone's on the team) is suffering because Bill cant respond to a text, and yes to be fair maybe he has something going on in life but we've seen him running. Ignoring us.  

I just want to know what to do.

Did a super awesome run that Joey came up with- start at Lidsney Gardens then to the capital. One of my favorite runs in a while. Also worked with Anderson as usual

AM: ran to liberty 3 miles, met up with team did 5 fast miles with Anderson (Saw Bill running agian) Then we went to park cafe as a team which was a blast. 

PM; did 2.5 to popington park then back.

I had asked Bill for my pace for this 5k and he said 5;20 which i really think would be just right. I got so caught up in the pack mentality and we hadn't done speed in over a month, so I had a hard time finding my pace and then just focused on winning. I led the pack from the beginning, then really took off at mile 3 and won by 20-30 seconds. Because I had gone about a 5:39 pace i was able to kick hard and I hate to say it but finished with a fair amount of energy left. 

All that said it was great to win and to learn. I think i could go 16:30 5k if i stayed foucsed during the race. Great course!

Was going to get 12 with Diwas, but his bus was late and i assumed he slept in. Went up to Zoo trailhead, then onto adventure run and turned around at 6. It was very hard mentally and physically. I was very sore but proud of myself.

Met at EHS stadium, went up to sunnyside 6 strides 3 800's I went about 2;33 235 2;40 then went to mount olive cemetary and two laps there back home

My goal is to get 60 miles this week. Met at sunnyside, 1 mile. Did shriners 4 miles out 4 miles back. Worked it hard with Diwas and Anderson. Then ran home. Planing another 12 miler this saturday with Diwas.

Meeting with new coach tonight. She seems very positive which we'll be helpful. Still anxiety ridden about it

Met with Diwas at Stadium parking lot, went to shirners, up city creek canyon. Turned around at 6. Went 7;53 avrege mile pace. Great solid run.

Did mile warm up. Then did the Highland course as a threshhold run. Had the honor of doing it with Connor Baller and Garek. Glad to meet Connor and have Garek back.
